Live Cycle
Game Summary
Live Cycle is a First Person Shooter where the Player uses Enemy body parts as their Weapon.
Game Goals
Zoomer shooters like Doom and Ultrakill provide the Player with a sizable arsenal of unique Weapons that the Player has access to at all times. While providing so many versatile Weapons creates a lot of depth, juggling over 10 weapons in the heat of gameplay is very demanding on the Players inputs.
The Goal of Live Cycle is to provide the experience of a large arsenal that the player constantly swaps through without the burden of fumbling around with weapon swapping .
The way Live Cycle achieves this is by outsourcing the weapons to the Enemies in the arena. By doing this, all the Player needs to do is preform a Snatch on an Enemy to gain a new weapon.

Now instead of the Players arsenal be limited to how the inputs may be binded, the Weapon count is now determined by the number of Enemy types on the map.

The biggest benefit of this design is that there no longer needs to be a complex control scheme, streamlining gameplay. Additionally the Enemy/Weapon dynamic add more depth by creating more factors in target prioritization.
